Each coil has an independent range of motion for maximum support. Most furniture manufacturers use preassembled, drop-in, 8-way hand-tied units which are bolted to the frame. At Cisco Home, all 8-way support systems are hand-tied into an FSC®-Certified Maple hardwood frame. This is a labor-intensive activity, ranging from two to three hours per sofa.
